e stayed just one night on our way from Athens to the Pelion peninsula and picked this hotel at random. We really liked it and would have liked to stay a little longer. We were given a room on the first floor at the front of the hotel with views out over the sea. The room was very spacious and the balcony was enormous.
The bathroom was a little tired but clean and again, very big.
ana hotel is lush and beautiful compared to all the buildings surrounding it, which is great when you’re sitting out front enjoying breakfast or just relaxing. The owner is so nice and welcoming, on our first day the staff offered a ride to the local hot springs when we showed an interest. The rooms are tidy and clean, an amazing deal for the price. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone traveling this way!
oom was huge with a separate living room, ample space, lovely furnishings, an excellent bathroom. There is a feeling of old-style grace which is pleasant but it also feels like some aspects of the place, like the TV sets, haven’t been updated since the 70s-80s. Buffet lunch and dinner was of limited choice but what they served was fresh, well-cooked and tasty. General areas are in need of renovation but the feeling is still one of elegance.
ooked this as an overnight stop between Thermopylae and Athens, only to find it would have merited a longer stay. Kamena Vourla is a pleasant, low-key Greek resort in a lovely location and with a decent beach and good restuarants. We had one of the best meals of our holiday at the last taverna on the beach on the way to the church.
Hotel Violetta was excellent value for money.
